„A Soft Seduction Daily“ tells of ups and downs, serpentines and curves, romance and melancholy, playing with words, musical styles, life in the subjunctive – where even quiet contemplation tastes pleasantly bittersweet. Malva and Quirin begin to move in various directions on the second album, exploring the boundaries of their musical personality, and so „A Soft Seduction Daily“ sometimes sounds a bit louder. „How can we still be?“ the two ask themselves, where the first album seemed rather fragile. Malva smiles, „maybe you all got it wrong!“.
Malva is the namesake of the MALVA duo, which also includes Quirin, who plays various instruments and is responsible for arrangement, production, and mixing of the songs. In addition, the instrumentals for „Paper-Thin“, „Electric“, „Your Came Along“, and „Dizzy“ are from him. It should be mentioned again that the two are not a couple. Apparently, it is still assumed that one must be a couple to make music together. Malva and Quirin, who never dream of being a couple but nevertheless complement each other perfectly as a musical dream team. „I write the lyrics and usually the melodies and hand them over to him,“ says Malva, because Quirin, the mixing master, doesn’t drop anything. „I never thought I would find someone who understands me so well!“. The two share a musical wavelength. One that doesn’t sound too much like beat or electronics, but retains its analog character.
